There are a number of accessories available to complement the Superglide Stairlift. These accessories are designed and manufactured to provide comfortable, practical and cost effective solutions for people with additional mobility and physical flexibility difficulties, or to cater for more complex stair configurations.

Sit and Stand Frame

With a Sit/Stand Frame, you can choose whether to use the stairs in either the usual seated position or to stand on the footrest. With a special folding steady/security bar for stability, it is ideal for anybody who may have problems bending their knees, or where multiple users with different requirements will be using the stairlift.

Occasionally it is not possible to use the standard  Superglide Stairlift. Perhaps this is because the stairs are exceptionally narrow, or because the user's legs will not bend enough to allow them to sit down on the stairlift.

The perch model stairlift has been developed to overcome this problem.

The perch model is easily operated by the remote control system, or alternatively with the wanderlead control which can be positioned for your maximum comfort and ease of operation.

Like all the other stairlifts in the range, the Perch stairlift employs 'soft start' and 'soft stop' technology, so there is no jolting or lurching as the lift starts or finishes its journey. It is whisper quiet in operation.
